Contemporary Hillside Garden with Pool

Situated in the hills outside Cannes overlooking the Riviera. We connected the upper level car park with an hard wood curving staircase leading down to the decked area that wraps around the house. Creating a large terrace on the far side of the house a perfect for dining whilst overlooking the ocean. Another curving staircase leading to the pool created with boulders dug from the excavation. The Pool is tiled with beautiful Italian handmade tiles. Wide terraces with planting creating individual gardens on each level. The simple evergreen planting by the pool including Nerium oleander, swathes of Agapanthus and billowing soft arching bamboo. The rustling in the breeze allows momentary rejuvenating respite in the hot Mediterranean sun.
